The Mississippi Assessment Center is proud to offer a highly qualified team to create the Mississippi Career Planning and Assessment System, Edition 2 that is fully aligned with the Mississippi Vocational Curriculum Framework. These assessments validly and reliably test Career and Technical Education students' progress toward reaching federal and state standards at the appropriate Depth of Knowledge.

Item Alignment and Development
The MAC utilizes Mississippi CTE teachers as content experts for validating item banks for the MS-CPAS2 assessments, and periodically, we invite teachers to align and develop items for the assessments as well. These meetings typically occur in years that a program's curriculum has also been revised by a writing team.
