What is IC³ Certification?

The Internet and Computing Core Certification is a national credential that covers basic computing as well as Internet knowledge and skills. Successful completion of IC³ ensures that you have the knowledge and skills required for basic use of computer hardware, software, networks and the Internet.

Mississippi has adopted this certification as a requirement in several updated licensure-endorsement areas. However, this requirement affects only those teachers who are presently adding any of the following endorsements or who will in the future.

• ICT I (981)
• ICT II (982)
• STEM (983)
• Career Discovery (996)
• Computer Discovery (997)
• Technology Discovery (998)
• All new Career Pathways curricula

Please visit Certiport for more information and a description of the three module exams.
