Online Professional Development

Online Professional Development sessions will be offered each semester. These sessions will be offered online through RCU Blackboard course sites. A nonrefundable fee of $60.00 for each 10-hour session (1.0 CEU) will be charged.

We accept debit and credit cards for payment. To pay by school purchase order, complete the form below and mail or fax this form with the purchase order to the address below.

Registration Information

To register for an online professional-development session and/or COOL.:          

  1. You must have a valid and active email address.        
  2. Go to MyPLC (http://myplc.rcu.msstate.edu) and follow the instructions. If you have trouble registering in MyPLC, contact:

  3. A fee of $60.00 for each 10-hour session (1.0 CEU) will be charged. This fee is nonrefundable.
  4. Wait to hear from your session facilitator by email.

 

Check often for online professional-development opportunities. All sessions will be provided online. There will be no travel involved.

COOL Certification

 

Each of our facilitators has completed an intense six-week, 40-hour facilitator training for the Certification Of Online Learning, or COOL.


Certification of Online Learning COOL Essentials
To help meet the requirements for licensure, COOL Essentials has been created. You can register for the 60-hour session that will take you from Basic Blackboard, through Advanced Blackboard, and on to complete COOL. The registration fee is $135.00. Taking the COOL Essentials session will save you $85.00. Successfully completing COOL Essentials will earn 6 CEUs.
