Contact: Brock Turnipseed

The deadline to submit presentation proposals for the 2020 MS ACTE Conference has been extended to April 10.

This year’s MS ACTE conference is scheduled to take place July 22-24 at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum and Convention Center in Biloxi.

Proposals should focus on issues facing CTE educators and administrators as they strive to prepare 21st century students to enter the workforce, a trade school or college.

The proposal selection committee will focus on innovative ideas and new approaches to these challenges within CTE and choose sessions featuring high-quality CTE program elements.

Quality sessions should engage participants and provide practical, how-to ideas and resources that directly affect CTE programs and student achievement. Sessions, which are typically 50 minutes in length, should allow time for questions and responses.

The call for proposals application can be found at

Registration for MS ACTE 2020 is currently available online at

Participants can register for $100 until July 5. After that date, the cost increases to $125.
