Each school year, on a rotating basis, the Mississippi Department of Education conducts consolidated monitoring instrument (CMI) and methods of administration (MOA) monitoring visits in Mississippi school districts. The
Monitoring and Tracking Tool (MATT) is a consolidated, web-based tool designed to coordinate, manage, and streamline federal and state program monitoring. The online system presents you with the appropriate group of monitored items and allows you to respond to those items by uploading evidentiary documents.
Video 1 will explain how authorized users access MATT, identify the end-user system guidelines for access, and demonstrate what you should do if you forget your password.
Video 2 will explain how MATT is organized and what navigation options are available.
Video 3 will explain how monitoring reviews are conducted in MATT, including the order of activities, roles and responsibilities, and points of communication.
Video 4 will explain how to navigate the Instrument Overview screen, how to assign Instrument Submitters, and how to answer criteria questions.
Video 5 will explain where to locate and read comments in MATT, how to post comments, and how to manage associated notifications.
Video 6 will tour the different components of the Item Overview screen.
Video 7 will explain where to access evidence guidance and how to provide documents for a monitoring review.
Video 8 will explain where to access documents that have been added to MATT and how to modify and delete documents.
Video 9 is a quick guide/review that covers assigning instrument submitters, evidence upload, and submitting instruments.
