Our goal for all research and evaluation is to assist stakeholders in making informed decisions that support effective innovations for schools and programs.

The RCU conducts research on a wide range of topics related to education, including a number of studies commissioned by the Mississippi Department of Education (MDE) and other agencies. Employing quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-methods designs, we provide timely and useful analyses to state policymakers and educators. Additionally, we conduct robust internal evaluations of RCU programs and serve as evaluators on a number of initiatives and interventions for MDE and university partners to help them determine if programs are meeting desired outcomes and running efficiently.
