The Pulse CMI Audit Monitoring Tool is a structured, data-informed system designed to evaluate the instructional quality and compliance of Mississippi’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs. The audit process ensures that programs meet state and federal standards through a combination of desk and on-site reviews. Districts use the Pulse platform to upload evidence aligned with specific indicators, which the RCU reviews to provide feedback and guidance. Following the desk audit, the Mississippi Department of Education (MDE) conducts on-site evaluations to verify documentation, inspect facilities and equipment, and confirm regulatory compliance. The process emphasizes collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement—supporting educators and administrators in identifying strengths, addressing gaps, and enhancing student outcomes.
